Nestled in the heart of the Barossa, Gomersal Wines brings rustic, country elegance to life. With our glory vine arbour to host your ceremony, and the sparkling Barrel Room for your reception, this historic winery wedding venue is perfect for your special day.

Our magnificent verandah that wraps around the front of cellar door as perfect for pre-ceremony mingling, and cocktail hour drinks and canapes. As day turns to night, the venue is transformed into an elegant and romantic space framed by beautiful fairy lights and hanging lanterns.
Set against the backdrop of corrugated iron walls and high timber beamed ceiling, the rustic ‘Barrel Room’ (named for its wall of barrels) seats groups of up to 130 people. This unique space includes a private bar and is complemented by handcrafted long Oregon tables that look stunning when finished with your special touch.
We understand that each and every wedding is individual and unique, and we tailor our spaces to suit your preference and personality.

FUNCTIONS
Our venue offers a variety of fantastic spaces to host your next function.
Our magnificent eucalyptus hardwood verandah with its solid wood tables and chairs, spectacular glory-vine arbour, and manicured lawns make for fantastic outdoor options, with plenty of room for games on the grass to entertain guests of all ages.
The Cellar Door offers a casual indoor option for groups up to 40, with a pink gum bar, cosy couches,
Our stunning Barrel Room, with its corrugated iron walls, high beamed ceilings, eucalyptus wreaths, and generous sprinkling of fairy lights will be dressed to suit the needs of your event. Whether you require a seated option with our long Oregon tables, adorned with runners, foliage and candles, a cocktail style with wine barrels and stools, or a little bit of both, this space can be tailored to your vision.
We can easily accommodate small intimate groups for private dinners and celebrations, and larger groups for engagement parties, anniversary parties, and birthdays.
*Please note that Gomersal Wines does not accept hens or bucks parties, and usually does not accept 18th birthdays or 21st birthdays unless they are family events.

HOW DO I ARRANGE A VIEWING AT THE VENUE?
Contact Gabriela via email (info@gomersalwines.com.au) or call our Cellar Door on (08) 85633611. It will be a pleasure to show you our venue!
HOW DO I BOOK MY WEDDING?
At your request, a member of our team will email you our Wedding Registration Form to fill out and return. Once your form has been received an invoice will be raised requesting your booking deposit.
WHEN DO I NEED TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT?
Upon sending invoice to the client we request the booking deposit within 48 hours.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Deposit and all subsequent money paid (as per T&C) is non refundable.
CAN I USE MY OWN CATERER?
Gomersal Wines highly recommends several local Caterers who is experienced with working in our Venue. The process of sourcing menus and prices is simple. Any other preferred caterer you select must be able to supply Gomersal Wines with their ABN and supply a Certificate of Currency. If you require guidance – please contact Gabriela.

Aleesha, Gaby & the team at Gomersal are incredible. We got married there in April 2023 & from the day we first saw the venue and then did a wine tasting with Aleesha we knew we were at our place. Aleesha made it so easy, the whole process, I fully trusted her and the team and we could just step back and let them do their thing. The setting is exceptional, the wines are amazing. We were going through a really hard family time during our wedding week and they just eased our minds and let us really enjoy ourselves and felt like part of our family as much as we were part of theirs.
